Dr. Juan “Jim” Sanchez, Jr., a renowned Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and author & founder of RP Healthcraft Carrier Foundation known as the Hospital on Wheels (HOW) will chair the Remediplus’ teleconsultations for Local Government Units.
Dr Jim says “Around 6 out of every 10 Filipinos are dying today because of noncommunicable diseases such as diabetes, cancer, chronic respiratory disease, and cardiovascular disease, while more than 3 million Filipinos are living with mental health conditions. The country is still also addressing the COVID pandemic, malnutrition, and other maternal and child health problems. With Remedi health kits and telemedicine combined, we can work together to bring health care closer to where it matters.”
